Jessica’s Prop Recommendations

Analog Movement was designed to be approachable and accessible for all, and many classes you can do with just your bodyweight or items that you already own in your house. If you are wanting to invest further in props and your at-home setup, below are a few of my recommendations.

Household Items

  • book - a thicker book, like a textbook or cookbook, can replace a yoga block

  • dish towel, dog leash, tie, robe sash - in placement of a strap

  • chair, stool, wall space

  • pillow from the bed or couch, or a rolled up blanket - great replacement for a bolster or meditation cushion

  • tennis ball - in placement of a myofascial release ball

Props for investing in

  • mat

  • blocks (my most used prop! I love having 2 blocks on hand)

  • strap

  • bolster

  • weights

  • myofascial release balls
